The Coastal Bend Bays Foundation was thrilled to host its 23rd Annual Environmental Awards Banquet, on October 16, 2025, at the Texas State Aquarium. where our community came together to celebrate this year’s unsung HEROES—individuals and organizations making a lasting, positive impact on the Coastal Bend environment.
This event served as our signature fundraiser of the year, helping to support our free community programs and our ongoing mission to raise awareness and educate the public about the importance of caring for our region’s waterways and wildlife.
We were excited to welcome back KIII 3 News Chief Meteorologist Alan Holt as our emcee, who brought his signature energy and enthusiasm to a memorable evening. Guests enjoyed great company, breathtaking skyline views, live music, cocktails, exclusive access to the Caribbean Journey Exhibit, bingo, raffles, an exciting silent auction, and more—all in support of a cleaner, healthier Coastal Bend.
The night began with a lively networking hour, featuring music by the talented Eric Graham, the selling of our one-of-a-kind raffle tickets, and opportunities to bid on amazing silent auction items. Guests played several rounds of bingo before being inspired by our keynote speaker, The Honorable Chairman Todd Hunter.
Following the keynote, we moved into the awards portion of the evening, recognizing this year’s outstanding environmental champions.

The evening concluded with our raffle drawing, where four lucky winners took home incredible prizes—an exciting finale to a truly unforgettable night.
